Operation Open Wide – Free Dental Treatment for Veterans

Shamblott Family Dentistry, a Minneapolis-area family dental office owned by Dr. Scott Shamblott, D.D.S., has created an event to lend a hand to honor area veterans. This year another dental practice, Parkside Dental in Minneapolis, has also offered free services to veterans! Free dental services will be provided to approximately 20 veterans in need of dental services. This is the third year of the event, with hopefully many more to come.

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon organizations, American Legions and the County of Veterans’ Services Officers in and around the Hopkins, MN area, will be asked to promote the event to veterans. All organizations will refer veterans to the contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. The veterans will then be contacted individually, to set up an evaluation appointment to determine what services need to be done. Over twenty veterans will be able to be served at this event and the list will be compiled on a first-come, first-served basis.
